I got into this KickStarter early, and Claudio has been very responsive to some of our contributor requests along the way (more expected before the campaign ends too). The current version of the rules look in-depth enough to provide for needed gameplay granularity at this squad-number and fewer (low) figure count, without appearing complicated. Anyway, taking the plunge and hoping for the game's, and campaign's success! |

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of games with only a few figures per side. I'd be hoping for a larger number of variants of figures per side, at least enough for a section per side. |

I wish that they offered a package that contains just the rules, the character cards and any charts needed to play the game. I already have plenty of figures and pieces of terrain and don't need to buy these again. I can make my own action markers, grenade markers, etc., too. I guess that I could just buy the rules and hope to find the character cards posted online somewhere in the future. |

How can a skirmish game be "highly strategic?" |

The same way the "Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator" was really tactical but in reverse. |

Self praise is little praise indeed. |

"Take command of your squad and lead your men in epic battle for their very life! " A squad is four men? Really? Also 1/48 scale and not 28mm? The above along with the heaping of self-praise make this a hard pass for me. |

Well, the word squad has the same origin as the italian squadra and the spanish escuadra. Meaning square. A square has 4 sides… In Spanish army, a escuadra are 4 soldiers. Bytheway, in spanish army a pelotón are 10 soldiers, and 3 pelotóns make a sección. |

Also 1/48 scale and not 28mm? Oh, so that's what the otherwise meaningless title means! |

Emilio, Appreciate the linguistics lesson on the root word, and I mean that sincerely. However when you are advertising a WWII skirmish game at "squad" level to an English speaking audience, four soldiers aside is by far not the first thing to come to mind. When I hear "squad" (or British "section"), that means a bit larger organization, say 6-10 soldiers per side for most armies. A 4 vs. 4 WWII skirmish game just seems a bit "odd" aesthetics wise. I have no doubt many will enjoy it though, just not for me personally for the reasons in my above post…..YMMV. |

Well, someone asked if really a squad was 4 men, and I answered. Sorry if it doesn´t fit the topic. |
