WR staged a pre-Fourth of July Flames of War 20mm scenario event at his local warren last weekend. Set in the cold winter month of December 1944, near the Franco-German border and the old Maginot line, the scenario Battle of Singling Dec 1944 pits the advancing American 4th Armored Division under Lt. Colonel Abrams against the recently arrived kampfgruppe of the German 11th Panzer Division. Based upon an old WWPD ("What Would Patton Do" site) scenario called "Abram's Folly", WR enlarged the scenario forces and tabletop area to allow six to eight players the fun of gaming. link A standard "show off" post today for my first complete units for the Yarkshire Gamer Crusades Project. Probably had the figures for a couple of years now, so progress is quick ;-) I do like these Gripping Beast plastic sets, a good method of building up troop numbers at a reasonable cost. Lots of pics via the link above Must stop getting distracted…….. Oh that will be the postman with my new WW2 tanks… Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Da "Bug" again…. Why my post shows up in the Medieval world when I requested WWII Battle Reports? Bill can you adjust to remove or one of your assistants? P.S. Lovely painted medieval miniatures I must add. |

Can't this bug be fixed and NEVER come back??? |

@Wargamerabbit and @yarkshire gamer: Beautiful minis! @Captain Gideon: As I understand it, The Bug(tm) happens when two "create new post" request hit the servers at exactly the same time. It's supposed to be silly-rare for that to happen, but obviously isn't. |

Lion Stars… Your "bug" generation is what I think too. My post is time stamped 9.02 hours. Yarkshire has a 9.03 time. Since I cross posted to three message boards (WWII Scenarios, WWII Battle Reports, and the Flames of War board) concurrently… my time could have matched 9.03 too. Thank you for your comment on my scenario game and miniatures. Sort of "old School gaming" with 20mm or 1/72 miniatures (been collecting since my youth (1970's)) but using the V3 FOW rules now and some creative infantry basing. |
