He chickened out. He did a great job of the tackle for the first four horses but he simply could not take it for the next pair. Some folk, honestly. To be fair, after four, further horses added far less traction than you would think. They no longer were pulling the load through swingles attached to a pole on the vehicle. No, now they just pulled the harness of the horse behind, via the same two ropes. The more you added the less, progressively, each row contributed. OK I will concede his are separated, but brass picture wire would bridge the gap, even if not quite attached posteriorly. these amateurs…. But then I read he has done 10 with 6 more on the way. I have one Garde limber somewhere in the attic….somewhere |
