I know when Fleet Captains first came out, some folk thought that it was a bargain for substituting for 'expensive' Tactics ships, assuming you were going to repaint anyway. I was just wondering if anyone went in the opposite direct: clip the FC disk to the appropriate Tactics ships base. As they can be found for quite reasonable, have a paintjob that doesn't make ME hurl, and the swap is quite easy and reversible, seems workable to me. Before I give it whirl, as I've not even played FC yet, I wondered if anyone else had tried. I don't THINK the difference in dial cover is a big deal, but I could stand to be corrected. Doug |
