Hello everyone

You saw ? The SEM 6 US Dragoons Mounted W / Command 25mm Old Glory figures references are equipped with Hall carbines, while their figurines in dismounted version in the SEM7 US Dragoons dismounted skirmishing 25mm Old Glory figures references are equipped with Colt Patterson 10 rounds Model 1837 carbines, caliber .69 (17.5mm) ???

Who sells 25/30mm US Army and miice figures to face the Sauk and Fox or the Seminoles in the thirties of the nineteenth century?

Thank you

There's only old glory and Frontier Miniatures?

The uniforms changed quite a bit between those wars.

I don't think the Dragoons were created until after the Black Hawk War.

Yes the 1st Dragoons were created in March 1833 …

For cons, I would have found documentation on the outfits and organization ect, on the militia units of these wars …

US regulars and some other figures that may be useful in the Alamo range.

boothillminiatures.co.uk, this is perfect for Texas Rangers before 1840 but there are no U.S. dragoons…

So the dismounted Dragoons have different weapons than the mounted Dragoons? That seems a bit odd. Would be nice if OG mentioned these details in the description.

I believe that the dragoons serving in dismounted service were issued different weapons than those serving mounted.

OG made a yerrible mistake, he misses two references which makes these SEM 6 and SEM 7 references unusable … (Now I will be obliged to buy these two references and make the two missing references)…

It's a mistake of OG because the SEM 6 US Dragoons Mounted W / Command 25mm Old Glory figures references are equipped with Hall carbines, while their figures in dismounted version in the SEM7 US Dragoons dismounted skirmishing 25mm Old Glory figures references are equipped With Colt Patterson 10 rounds Model 1837 carbines, caliber .69 (17.5mm) !!!

The dragoons serving in dismounted service were not issued different weapons than those serving mounted.

The Hall carbines were the Regulatory Weapons of the U.S. Dragoons and there were only 50 Colt Patterson 10 rounds Model 1837 carbines, caliber .69 (17.5mm) in service against the poor seminoles …

I suspected as much. Considering that there were only 50 colts issued all together I would have preferred a mix or maybe a smaller pack of say 10-15 figures with the colts. The fact that you can't use the dismounted pack to represent the mounted figures dismounted is a bummer.

Yes but by buying in double every reference, there is way to do something.

In any case I do not have the choice because I do not find the old figurines of the Seminole war range of 'Frontier miniatures'…

Thank you.
