G43? That rifle was and is a problem. My husband ownes a G43, and he is very careful with it, as its a pain in the…to load.

The magazines are crap. So he loads it with strippers. Still a problem waiting to happen.

I like shooting my husbands AK74. No kick, and I shoot better then him,Lol.

Its a Mauser 98k not the gewehr 43 which was reckoned to be pretty reliable, though took careful maintenance and care in handling.

Yes… the G41 was unreliable… The G43 not so much.
