G43? That rifle was and is a problem. My husband ownes a G43, and he is very careful with it, as its a pain in the…to load. The magazines are crap. So he loads it with strippers. Still a problem waiting to happen. I like shooting my husbands AK74. No kick, and I shoot better then him,Lol. |

Its a Mauser 98k not the gewehr 43 which was reckoned to be pretty reliable, though took careful maintenance and care in handling.
