"Gamers or Clubs near Cape Coral" Topic

Starting this winter I'm going to be one of those snowbird creatures with a roost down in Cape Coral Florida. Any gamers nearby? There was a web site for a group but it went poof.

Dyna, I used to host that site when I lived in South FL. However, Jeff Baumal runs the group now and they are alive and well right across alligator alley with monthly games at Der Krieg Haus in Ft. Lauderdale. His TMP name is Sgt Guinness.

Dynaman8789, we have a pretty active group down here. We are called SMG which stands for South Florida Miniatures Gamers.

Welcome to S. Fl. We run one official game a month on a predetermined Saturday usually at our club house in Ft Laud, Das Kreig Haus, though occasionally at member's houses. Some of the group also get together on off schedule days and times.

We play just about any historical miniatures games depending on who is running it.

We play AWI and Crimean wars in 28mm using Saber & Musket (club set). We play ACW and various colonial conflicts in 28mm using The Sword & The Flame. Various 18th century horse & musket periods with various rules. Various micro scale naval and air combat games. 20mm WWII rapid fire or command decision. 15mm naval with Limeys and Slimeys. 28mm WWII skirmish with various rules. 15mm Napoleonic's. If someone has it, we will play it.

I'm sure I've missed some games, but you get the idea.
