I wanted a unit of Martian Musketeers, so I made one: It's a conversion from an older Grenadier miniature, Open-Handed Elf, from Forlorn Hope Games. Just a bit of bending, and muskets from the parts box I think it's not so bad looking, and I'm pleased with the results. gisby.wordpress.com |

Yeah, if I had those and you had a feather up your rear, we'd both be 'tickled.' ;->= Well done, and please forgive my SO lusting after your work! Doug |

Nice work. To quote an Larry Leadhead comic. "You can't use Elves for Martians, It is un-historical!" |

Looks great! Back when the only "official" Space:1889 miniatures were the original GDW releases, we used that open-handed figure for Martian artillery crews. They were, and still are, a great match. I still have several of them in my Oenotrian army. |

Good work. I've found that Perry plastic Sudanese Warriors make for good Martians too, especially priests and civilians. The Bega (Fuzzy Wuzzy) heads can be carved back and then easily built back up with putty for a Martian coiffure. GW Dark Elves (especially plastic Corsairs) are a handy source of Martian looking kit to pimp them up with. |

How does the scale with the RAFM Martians? Edit. Your site answers all my questions. Marvelous stuff |

Thanks for the kind words, I'm finally taking pictures, so there should be a few more posts coming up. (Both Barsoom and SPACE 1889) |
