Vanguard Miniatures have just re-released a steampunk Tripod model I used to sell: link The legs are posable in different angles, and the Tripods come with 3 different weapon options: Heat Ray, Black Smoke Discharger, and Manipulator Arms. The model is fairly scale-agnostic, so could be used for anything between 3mm and 15mm games I reckon, or maybe it could even represent a small tripod in 28mm scale. .

Not a bad price for two! I remember these things. Might have to get some this time around. Would be pretty scary in my 20mm games. |

Not a bad price for two! Very words out of my mouth from earlier viewing. I'm thinking small for 28mm unless automaton/clockwork, but awesome for those! Excellent for 15-18 in the 'scout' range. Do hope these work out for you. I saw where you were thinking of releasing more items, and if this is an example, I hope you do! Doug PS I know, I know: 'So, why haven't ordered already?' ;->= |

Thanks TheBeast; I am considering releasing some more Steampunk kits – it's a matter of testing the waters first. My original 10mm Steampunk range didn't sell all that well, so although I still have the moulds, I'm not sure I'd bring most of it back (other than maybe to liquidate some stock I have already cast up). I'm considering 6mm or 15mm (or maybe both?) for a 2nd attempt at Steampunk kits… |

Yeah, as I said on LAF, as I've not seen a lot (any) 10mm VSF, you'd have to be pulling the full weight. a) you'd need something really kewl and new as a concept to try to 'own' a niche, and b) you'd have to have a LOT of stuff to support a scale almost by yourself. Not sure how well their doing with 15mm in this realm, but at least you know, between Black Hat and Ironclad Games, along with others, at least you know you aren't trying to drum interest by yourself. I'd be in for 15mm steampunk stuff. |

Just a note to say that these are now back in stock, after they sold out so quickly back in July. link |

I use these excellent walkers with my 15mm VSF. Very happy with them. Even though they were originally meant to be 10mm, I find they fit quite well with 15's. Always looking at getting more if the range continues. |
