Are there 72 "virgins" in Hell giving the ISIS Caliph a proper "prison welcome"? Or has he left Syria long ago and left behind a few body doubles as decoys before he took off? If so, to where?

What's your guess?

Montenegrin online magazine Vijesti says, on July 11., that ISIS confirmed his death. One Croatian paper cites Kurd Intelligence Agency which claims Al Baghdadi is alive. Another Cro paper cites Syrian officers in contact with ISIS military command: he is indeed dead. If we think we invented "fake news" and "alternative facts" , we are kidding ourselves.
My guess is : This parrot is not dead,it's only resting.

I saw him at Historicon.
He was running the Empire V tournament.

Seriously, if he is REALLY DEAD, where are the outraged acts of terrorism calling for vengeance. I haven't seen any.
I think nevals is right. He isn't pining for the fjords.

Maybe the ISIS minister of propaganda thinks it's a good idea to put out conflicting reports …

He might conclude that if those hunting him come to just doubt that he is alive, they won't give their effort the 100% it deserves. And if they are made to believe that he is dead, they'd simply stop looking.

The Nigerian Oil Minister told me Uboat U-692 sailed up the Euphrates river to Mosul and picked up Baghadidi in the middle of the night right before Mosul fell. From there they made their way to Thule located under the Antarctic ice cap.

On a more serious note I hope the guy does not get red misted in a bomb strike or there will always be doubt just like with Bin Laden until they got him in Pakistan. I predict he will be pulled out of someone's basement in the future and will have AHEM died fighting…

You know, it really doesn't matter. Except that by continually hunting for 'heads' you will have speeded up Darwinian selection. The incompetents get 'pruned' – until you're left with a really smart enemy.

It's like the Hydra, each time you chop off one head, the actions create ten more.

Intel sources very recently said that they are 99% sure that he is still alive. They're not sure where he is though, or they'd send a few bombs his way.

i'm quite sure Baghdadi is dead …first source had been Moscow…certainly more reliable and honest than the majority of others….is not a character of Russia media or Govt enquiries to lie but , on the opposite, to take out mask from others…..remenber the enquiries Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 ,the ones about supposed to be former Jugoslavia/Serbia criminals and the assination of Kadafi..evidences collected in a professional and fearless way from Moscow showed, as usual, that the truth we have been told was only disinformation…..so ..i'm sorry for the many European supporters of cutthtroats and the corrupted media but the bearded goat is very dead

The Historicon comment made me laugh, Winston.
Hide in plain sight. It's worked before.

I also enjoyed the Empire V reference. My first experience with Napoleonics back in the late '70's.
Fortunately, I survived, which is more than I can say for my troops in the game.

Maybe he'll come back as a performer, say all the right things, and all will be forgiven?
