A couple of days ago Dan and I ran the classic Battle At The Farm scenario using the 8th Ed rules available in the free battle primer using home made 1/72 minis – bags of fun! Check the link here: https://skinflintgames.wordpress.com/2017/07/19/40k-mashup-8th-ed-meets-rogue-trader-in-172

Loved it! Nice trip down memory lane and using the new rules for 8th. Looks like a fun game.

Thanks guys! Having picked up the 2nd Ed box set (well, some of it, anyway) we'll be doing alot of 1/72 40k in 2018. In fact as I'm typing this, a teeny weeny cardboard Chimera and Leman Russ are both staring at me, begging to be weathered and varnished and get on the table to start vanquishing the enemies of the Emperor!
