Well, now that I can finally post again… there is a bunch I've been working on!

picture

First up, I've tackled some Baccus 6mm samurai! I've got about eight units done, including a mildly converted Seven Samurai unit, so please come by and take a look!

My son also painted his first wargames unit… a unit of Romans! So come on by for a bunch of photos of that!

How old is your son? 30? Paints already better than I ever did or will be able to especially if you did'nt help with the base.
Cool Job, well done!

Lovely 6mm work! For what system are they based?

As for the Romans, well, if that's what your son can do at 5, he'll be winning awards by his teens.

Man I have been painting for about 35 years and would be hard pressed to match your son's work. Well done!!!!

Curious as to whether there was any special technique to get your son painting that well – I've been painting with my nephew every so often, started when he was 4, now he's 6, and despite my hints, he paints like Jackson Pollock! I'm fine with that, he's just painting spare Reaper Bones figures and he's having fun but I can't imagine him getting up to speed like your son has.

Major style points for a 7 Samurai unit, particularly in 6mm!

Hey guys!

No system for the samurai… just making them how I like them?:).

And yeah, he is doing a nice job. Taking it seriously… maybe too seriously… he was a bit messy with his last batch, which I left him totally alone to do, and he got weepy:)

Sorry I wasn't clear – which rules are you using?

Thanks,
Doug

No rules! Just painting them first… I'll figure out rules later:)
