Kudos to all the dealers we visited at Historicon 2017: Last Stand at Fredericksburg. Everyone took the time not only to answer my questions and make sure I found just what I was looking for, but each engaged my talkative seven year-old son at an intelligent level about game-related topics (and some Transformers-related topics…). Specifically:

* Bill at Good Ground LLC took the time to answer my questions about the minis and set me up with some nice ACW regiment packs and the Henry House to get started.

* Steve at the Warlord Games booth had a very encouraging conversation with my son and gave me a sweet deal on the Bolt Action: Band of Brothers starter set.

* The fellows at Ironclad Games who resurrected the All Quiet on the Martian Front game line were very friendly, helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and gave me a nice deal. Thanks for driving out to VA!

* Folks at Atlantis Games & Comics are always friendly and help my son find something he really loves (this time the POP glow-in-the-dark Godzilla figure).

* Your Hobby Place recently opened a second location in Fredericksburg and had a good showing at the con; they even made sure the flame markers I asked them to order and hold for me at the shop were waiting at their dealers hall register so I didn't have to make an extra trip.

We're looking forward to seeing many of these dealers next year at Origins; those who are more local to Virginia we hope to see at the conventions in Williamsburg…and others, well, we'll miss talking with you, but we can order stuff from you online when the time comes. Thank you for helping to make Historicon another success for us.

I'd like to add a vendor to the list – Badger Games. They recently started carrying Foundry – both the miniatures and the paints! I look forward to seeing them at the coming conventions.

There were some very friendly and helpful vendors at the con.

Badger Games needs a website. All I could find was a Facebook page 😩 I would interested in the Foundry paints.

I see Bill Moreno at most of my shows as well. He is a stand up guy.

When I spoke with them they told me they're in the process of working on a website.

I just checked my PayPal receipt for contact info and here is what I have….

Another friendly vendor was the team from GHQ. Had exactly the packs I needed and even exchanged a Bf109G for an earlier Bf109E.

Add George Nafziger to the list.

And Rick Carlisle.

Rob Walter from Eureka is the best!

Thanks for all of the kind words. We genuinely enjoy meeting and speaking to our customers at the conventions. Historicon 2017 was our best one yet. Thanks to all our customers that came by our booth and took time out of their convention gaming schedule to chat with myself and Barbara. We heard some excellent ideas and I am putting some of them into action already.

Sincere Thanks,

Bill Moreno

When I spoke to the guys at the Badger booth they told me to send a note through Facebook and they would then send a paypal invoice for the items I wanted.
