Medieval Warfare sometimes touches on the early part of the period. Lansknechts, Swiss and the like. |

I'm not sure if it's still being published, but there's the English Civil War Notes and Queries put out by Caliver Books/Partizan Press and carried by On Military Matters in the U.S. They also did a very short lived Renaissance Notes and Queries. |

Black Cavalier, ECW Notes and Queries transitioned into a full A4 format glossy magazine 'The English Civil War Times' for its last 9-10 issues. It ceased production some 15years ago, possibly even more. I think it totalled 59 issues in both formats, and the good news is that most, if not all, still seem to be available from Caliver books.
