[size=20]Hello people, i wanted to share with you 3D renders of a set composed by big and horrorific creatures that will be produced via kickstarter soon. They will be casted with polyurethane resin, while the "breed" will be casted in white metal.[/size]

There is horror and there is just plain stupid. Its all in how one sees it :)

Looks like toys designed by Hieronymus Bosch to me. And just as with Bosch's art, some will like these miniatures and others will not.

Thanks for the comments, i used both , Berserk and Bosch art as inspiration, with a touch of biology, rather than plain porn-o-matic themes

@Der Krieg Geist: rather than "how one sees it" it is about what "one" is used to see, most horror visions are those looking like Nurgle, or christian based demons, i decided to make horror based in zoomorph oversized creatures whose look in the eye would make you tremble/shudder

Itlerion, perhaps I should say that my comment is a bit unfair as I find "horror" as a whole distasteful and of no appeal to me. I did not mean to deride your work.Just have no love for the subject matter.

WEll Der Krieg, i personally had to do a mental fight to decide if doing or not horror-related models.

I dont like "high fantasy" deformed, exagerated unbelievable(that would not even be posible to exist due the proportions) models/styles.

So that is why i had to think a lot how to make horror but based in nature, so i researched about bio-mechanics weights/proportions and i came with this creatures that could exist and survive some time before dying cause of the "irregularities" , that is why they are "bio engineered", they were fabricated to last short time, and do a task.. as if they were cloned, or born with a mutation.

In the other hand!:

Both poses allows to use eaither a spear or a ribs crossbow (for a fantasy setting) but also could use fire weapons.

These are excellent. A twist on insanity in horror.
When I saw the toad man I found it much more horrifying than a bloody zombie with bad teeth and an extra arm in his hand. To me this is Thomas Ligotti horror. Real psychological stuff.

Nice to see someone try something different and it succeeds in my opinion. Good luck with these. Want to see more.

Bio Engineer with modifications (based on feedback), with a bit more dinamic pose and extra details.

Also!, his "sons" are done!

The "Spinal Stingers" are fast moving, letal attack but vulnerable creatures.

They basically run towards you, jump , catches your head with their big lips holding it by sucking while he repeatingly stabs you with it stinger. :o
