One of the things I like about the Warlord French and Polish I've gotten is that a squad pack looks about right. You get the right number of leaders, light machine-guns, etc. When I look at their Germans, they don't seem right. In particular the Blitzkrieg infantry has too many submachine guns and not enough rifles. Does anyone make a German early war squad pack that is correct? |

Those boxes of plastic figures are pretty flexible; at worst you would need one extra sprue of weapons to arm all your NCOS correctly. What makes me sad is that they all have the leather braces. Photos from France and Poland seem to indicate this was the exception rather than the rule. I realize this doesn't answer the question. Do Foundry and Crusader not float your boat? Blacktree do some sans shoulder straps, but it might be hard to pick them out. They have a squad sale on right now. |

Thanks for the note. Yes I forgot that the plastic figures allow you to easily swap out weapons. |
