Hello Everyone, Well, Historicon is history (so to speak), and we wanted to give an update and also distribute a data call for our Lard Day at FALL-In get together. We are posting this to TMP because we received a number of responses on TMP but do not have a personal email address from folks who expressed interest. In those instances, please send me an email at e.bowen66@yahoo.com As we get into more details we hope to take this off the forums and just communicate within the group of interested gamers/ gamemasters. Patrick is going to work with the Fall-In organizers so all the Lardie games can be kept in a common area so that we can get displays up and have a community feel to the event. Therefore, we're asking for gamemaster info to be sent to us as opposed to submitting individual gamemaster forms to Fall-In. Prospective Lard Day Gamemasters We will be hosting Lard Days all day Friday and Saturday at Fall-In (Nov 3 and 4). Please provide the following information by 8/1/2017 if you wish to host one or more games. Title of the game(s) Preferred Start Time, e.g., whole numbers Game Duration, e.g., rounded up to hours Game Master(s), e.g., yourself and anyone helping you Sponsor – If you are representing a club. TFL and Warrior-in-the-Attic Gaming will also be sponsoring. Period of the game, e.g., WWII, Napoleonics, etc Scale, e.g., 28mm, 15mm, etc Rules, must be Lard-related # of players, e.g., minimum and maximum Brief 1 paragraph description of the game and scenario Setup Time Requirements, e.g., how long will it take to setup the game rounded up to hours Takedown Time Requirements, e.g., how long will it take to takedown the game rounded up to hours Table Size requirements in feet (length and width) Terrain, mat, dice, pointers, tape measure and any other assistance requirements if any Has this ruleset/game/scenario been played before by the gamemaster(s) Any special charts and game aids needed. Charts can be produced on poster board and a flip chart stand will be available. .PDF, MS Word, or MS PowerPoint electronic files will be required to produce charts. Drink recommendations to go with the game. Thank to everyone for expressing interest in Fall-In Lard Days and we are hoping to see you there and have a great event. Hello again, Just wanted to remind everyone, if you expressed interest in participating in the Fall-In Lard days (either running a game, playing in a game or anything else), by responding on TMP, we probably don't have your email address. We've heard from a few TMPers but not everyone who expressed interest. So, if you want to be included on our email updates please let us have your email address. You can send it to me at e.bowen66@yahoo.com. thanks, Ed |
