I see a lot of posts of people playing in 1/144, what figures are being used for moderns? I suppose 10mm will work for WW2. |

Depends what you want. Many 10mm figures are actually 12mm anyway. I use Minifigs 12mm for commecial. link which are fine. However being a twisted soul I use a lot of Prone 3D printed figures designed by me. I LIKE PRONE and well camoflarged you can bearly see the figures which is how it should be. The advantage is cost and space. I bought a what I called Large box with 80 compartments. This proved massively inadequate and its vergoing on filling a 120 compartment one. Having to put one base per compartment for the figures would not be acceptable. All thid for just a German army. The reason, if you play for"real" you need all the special stuff, Unimogs, mine rollers, bridge layers (it takes up lots of space), Engineering vehicle etc. Flat troops for basic grunts is OK. |
