As per the title, looking for various trains and rolling stock for 6mm (WWII and Modern), checked Microform and no go. Thanks, CW Edit: Should also mention am aware of Shapeways. |

Checked out H&R, thanks. No interest in paper, but will keep it in mind for the future. |

I found some toy trains in Walmart last winter that I think might work for 6mm, I haven't opened them to test them, but they were on sale for $1 USD for a pack of an engine and a few cars. I bought four on spec, so I'd have an engine and duplicates of the cars (at least one was kind of useless to have more of). They were toys that you pull back to move forward but that didn't take away from the look, I figured with some distressing and sitting on tracks, nobody would notice their origin. Having said that, I'm not sure of what brand they are, if any; I sort of think they were generic. It wasn't Thomas or Fisher-Price or anything like that, and were in with the die-cast cars, not the trains. I can't find them online right now but I'll try to dig up the packs tonight. |

Leven Miniatures does track, single and double, I think, but believe he is inundated with orders for it currently. |

Ok, it was Adventure Wheels and there were five cars in the set – an engine, caboose (which might be convertible to something else), a coal car, tank car, and passenger car. The engine will need the friction wheels removed, and the tank car is pretty modern looking, but the passenger car looks good. I grabbed a photo of the pack, let me know if you'd like me to post it so you can get an idea of what's available. Legion IV Hire in Winnipeg has stuff too, just realized they have complete trains, not just tracks: link |
