On my blog I have post Part 3, the conclusion to my after action report on the AWI Battle of McDowell from my 1780 South Carolina campaign.

If I were Ray, I would sue Tarleton for libel.

You mentioned that you used a "sport of Kings" scenario book to randomly generate each specific table set-up. Could you post a link to that book? All I'm finding are horse racing games.

p.s. Very timely post as I recently discovered an ancestor who was in the 1st Carolina 1775-1776 and again with Marion as part of a militia unit in 1780.

Several posters on your blog commented on the fantastic troops and terrain, and they are right.

In addition, I also want to complement your skill in writing a clear, consistent series of 3 battle reports with great photographs that tell the same story in parallel with your narrative. Each photograph was included in a way that made it easy to orient the action to the table top, and carried the flow of the battle forward in sequence.

Well done, sir!
