I do not consider myself primarily as a modler but a wargamer. However I got a sneak Peak at the new Shipyards Marder A3. Its so much better than the old Minifigs one that I may have to change my models. I'm not normaly given to this but even at 1/144 you now get a convincing Milan mounted on the turret and better general definition. Do you suffer from this problem?

Nope. To me they are game pieces. Once they are painted, my officers have to make do with what supply gave them.

Did anyone notice that Revell is selling a box of 6x 1/144 scale US vehicles for about $11 USD? There are 2 Shermans, 2 scout cars and 2 trucks. Saw it at Hobby Lobby, for goodness sake…

Shiny new models become my newest regiment.
Saturday I will welcome the 5th and 27th regiments to the British army. No need to throw out the old 38th or 33rd.

No, I do not suffer. My wallet does, though.

Not a problem for me.

I'm having a similar problem with Team Yankee. I have a nice battalion of T72s, but now there T64s! I REALLY want a battalion of them too! I'll probably will only get a company to serve in my motor rifle battalion because while my spirit is willing, my wallet is weak… sigh!

Too many projects to have regrets.

Extra Crispy,
I normaly agree but sometimes I crack. First was Minifigs Leopards, they were awful so had to go, not even put in reserve as they were really bad. The marders are not too bad but it does make you think. The other issue is I need some Marders as replacements after 5 or 6 years metal gets chiped and bent and not really worth a re-paint. Mixing standards would look bad even to me and i'm not very discering.

2nd extra crispy. Just move on to new vehicles.
