Ended up with some of these 15mm ships, was wondering if there were some quick rules that would make for a fun game, with everyone running 1 or 2 ships. |

I have a few of them. Smoke on the Water rules will work. We love Sail and Steam Navy rules. These would require some tweaking to ranges. The ships came with a very basic set of rules in the pack. We did play them "Back in the Day". They played along as I remember. We played on an 8'x8' table and was still not enough room. Need to play on the floor at this scale.(ouch my knees!) |

I thought they came with rules when J&T made them. Perhaps OG has access to what used to be produced for the ships. |

I wrote Beer and Pretzels iron clads specifically for use with this boats. I was living in Texas and used it as a crossover game to interest some dyed in the wool GE guys in historical miniatures. It worked. They still played three old games, but they became willing to play otherbthings as well. In particular I was up against the brain washing that said historical games were all boring. Anyway, Beer and Pretzels Ironclads is out of print, I think? But I am sure you can find it on line somewhere. You might also talk to On Military Matters. Dennis may still have a couple of copies on hand. |

Surdu's rules for quick and easy play. If you want more detail go for David Manley's Iron and Fire. aandagames.co.uk/if.htm |
