We are almost done with the table. Which is a good thing since we leave Tuesday. It has truly been a collaborative effort. Alan and I building the table. Bob and Lou painting over 2000 figures in the last 4 weeks. Lou scuplting some more buildings for us. Alan and Bob will be running Aspern-Essling 3 times and I of course will be running Frostgrave 3 times.

Our gaming foot print has gotten so big that I had a trailer hitch put on my minivan and we will rent a uhaul trailer to bring it all to Historicon.

Here's the latest build pics from last night.

Gluing down flock

Vienna publc works continue. Really happy with the way the wall came out.

How to make a mess with flock, glue and hedgerows.

Cleaned up and ready for some epoxy resin pouring.

Foam dam for the river pour. Using Envirotex Lite.

Important to level the board before the pour.

The river is poured. Takes about 8 hours for it to dry to the touch, 48 hours for full cure.

We still have touch up work to do. Finish the villages, and Vienna. Dress up the river banks. Build pontoon bridges. But we will get there.

This is the first time I looked at your posts on this and I am glad I finally did. You are DEDICATED! I wish I could go to Historican to see it, but I will have to be content with your kindness in posting it here. May the figures do justice to the battlefield.

Jolly good!
The actual fighting place on your display is only a fraction of the table.
It looks like an aerial, map. Whoa.

I wished I coukd go.
