I had always hoped someone would do Planet of the Apes figures in 1/72nd scale plastic, based on the original movie and the first sequel, Beneath the Planet of the Apes. In the sequel the Ape Army goes to war. They are armed with their original rifles, but pick up submachine guns and pistols in the same style.

Perhaps in a few years when 3D printing becomes more ubiquitous, easy and cheap someone will make some for me.
