Excellent, I really like your power station, what are the towers made from please? MM gives a very good game. |

Sorry for the delay, just saw the response now. The nuclear plant towers are made from dollar store egg holders for microwaving eggs (to hardboil them). I have no idea how they work for their true purpose, but the bottom half is what I've used for these towers. The top half gives a good dome shape, but haven't used them for anything yet. I have a bunch more stashed away that I've going to use intact as egg-shaped dropships for 6 or 15mm sci-fi. The dollar store I got them from is a cheapie no-name place, so I'm not sure how widespread these egg holders are. Hmm, ok, just did an image search and found them (or lookalikes) on Amazon, but don't pay those prices (even if it's a pack of 4)! Ebay may be your friend there. link Edit – oh and when I was making the towers I also glued a flat wooden circle (from a craft wood pack) to the original bottom of the egg holder (now the top of the tower) to make it look better. So the circular tan part at the top is the wood circle. |

Thanks for that. I'll get hold of some and should be throwing my opposition into them in no time. |

Excellent! I have plans to do a proper station with connecting buildings, outbuildings (offices), piping, and cooling pools, with a security fence to momentarily slow the kaiju down. |
