Very nice conversions and brushwork. Lots of ideas here. Given the wonderfully tatty appearance of the men, the pristine flags look a bit out of place though. |

it's a placeholder actually. You'll see the same figure with a different flag later in the thread. My intention is to revert to my old 'cotton flags in tatters' idea for these. It is what I always have done since way back in 1989 but with the large collections I now have it takes too much time. For a special like this, I think I can manage three tatty old dusters |
