"This one covers the development of Blitzkrieg theory and practice from World War I to the German attack on France and the Low Countries in May 1940, with special emphasis on the latter." link Good luck!. You are going to need it!. (smile) Amicalement Armand

OK, I'm going to try the timed version. Let's see how I do. |

Hmmm. 2123 out of 2500. 22 right on the first try, out of 25. 2 of my 3 misses I was able to immediately correct. Not sure I liked the way a few of the questions were phrased. For example the question of who had the initial idea for the German "Sichelschnitt" (got it wrong on the first try, corrected immediately -- knew the answer, but was thrown off by the question). Or the use of the 88's at Arras (got it right, but only because I was able to identify it as a "trick question"). And I'm a bit groused about the Hitler quote with two blanks. Says the answer is "plural". So I put two words in the answer (one for each of the blanks). BOTH of the words I used were correct -- I gave the complete and correct answer. But evidently it can only accept one word in the answer (put in the word to fill either blank, but not both). That said, I was clearly wrong, with no excuses, on the question of the Allied General ordering the pincer counter-attack. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |
