Hello, all,

I just completed a collection of Austrian commanders using Helion/Northstar, Eureka, and a Perry Carlist War commander conversion:

For the curious, there is more on my blog (the most recent two posts address the project in its entirety):

Thanks, gents,

Jurgenation: the absence of mounted command figures is an odd gap in the offerings considering the growing interest in the continental wars of the 19th Century. It's too bad that Northstar hasn't continued to produce the Austrian and Prussian mounted command figures that were part of the Helion line that they picked up (perhaps there is something amiss with the molds).

I have commissioned a mounted Hungarian officer (still in the works) with Steve Barber in his 19th Cent Rev in Europe line. I'm not sure if anyone has commissioned a mounted officer with him for the Austrians.

Next on the painting table are some Steve Barber Austrian Grenzers…

Best,
Ed M

I'd seen the Little Dudes figures somewhere before, but never was able to find where they were being sold. Thanks for the link!
