Red with white pips followed by white with black pips. But there must always be at least three--the regular dice, the elite company and the half-strength firing group. If you roll for them in sequence, you do not get an adequate fall of dice. |

Black, that way I can see the "1" I rolled clearly when needing a "6" |

Black are my favorite. Most days they really do me proud. Other days, not so much. |

Bright green marked black. |

Red like the blood of my enemies, with white pips like the bones of my enemies. |

Chessex translucent blue-green. Probably not the easiest to read, but I love fiddling with them. |

Something to be said--especially in "buckets of dice" games--for dice which match the army in some way, and in games which require a variety of dice, for each type to have its own color. |

Sky blue with white pips. No color rolls well for me. |

I picked up a pair of bone and horn dice. where the pips are made of grey horn and the white is bone. they also have them in the other color combo. I cant recall who made them but they were at GenCon in Indy two years ago. |

I like to match colors of dice with troop uniform colors sometimes, or national colors -- when this is feasible. Other than that, I have a fondness for bright contrasting dice colors that stand out easily on the tabletop (e.g., green is not the most visible choice on a European battlefield) and also silly dice like the pink sort that have elephants for a "1", and the black and white ones with skunks for "1", that sort of thing. |

Like peper909, I like to match the die color with the units. |

Certainly NOT bronze. I have an issue with that die, and it knows it. |

I have quietly collected a bunch of swirly, multicolored, psychedelic dice for that fabled future "Hippies vs. Police" urban riot game I intend to create and play one day. The PO-lice will roll stolid, no-frills, law-abiding blue dice, of course. |

I try to match my dice color with my army paint scheme. I have too many dice, by the way. |

I also like dice to match the army color. But, as my eyes have aged darker die body & lighter numbers / pips seem to work better for me. Unfortunately pretty dice don't help my usually poor dice rolling results. |
