An unexpected gift to the Antietam Battlefield Restoration project. Thank you again.

And a great park it is.

Wowee! Way to go!

Jeff

P.S. I haven't seen Antietam since 1998, and may never see it again. But the visit that a Texas buddy and I made there was truly memorable.

What a great gift to the future of America and helping to preserve the memory of past conflicts.

78 thousand gift against 350 million in proposed cuts to the park service. Yes, thank you.

So, drop your political agenda and simply appreciate the gesture made to help preserve one of our sacred sites.

Whether we like the current President or not, I think we can all agree that every penny donated by anyone to the National Park Service is a good thing. I myself always donate $20 USD to the NPS with every visit and that is not counting any entry fee. Last year I donated what amounted to 0.4% of my annual income before taxes. It's not much but it helps the NPS in this era of budget constraints.

Wow. The rancor on hear reminds me of the daily diatribes and chest-thumping on the Napoleonics boards. I had thought the folks here were better than that.

It's a nice gesture, but in relation to his claimed net worth it is as if one of us donated $5. USD

What a wonderful way to look at this.
