My Konflkit '47 British army arrives today and I'm looking for an interesting paint scheme for the armored vehicles. I'd like to be at least somewhat historically accurate.

Though weirded-up with gas masks and such, the troops are generaly being painted as standard Eurpean theater with the green/brown uniform and khaki kit. Thus, I'd like the tanks to fit that arena as well.

I'm a newbie to this but so far, all the interesting British paint scheme's I've googled have been from desert locales and most everything in europe seems to be plain dark green.

Any more visually-interesting mostly-historically-accurate armor paint schemes that I could use? I'd be fine even with limited use, short run, experimental, pre-war, or home front if it's got more to it than dark green paint.

Thasnk!

British Mickey Mouse camo scheme. Overlapping black circles on a green background.

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming!

I rather like this version of the Mickey Mouse that doesn't have a black top.

Maybe use a very dark green instead of black?

In Germany?
Yeah, that would be interesting.

The Guards painted their tanks in German battleship grey at the end of the war. The Germans had a surplus of battleship grey due to a lack of battleships to paint with it!

Caunter but using European colours, so mid/dark green, earth brown and black could look effective.

How about early desert camo?

Thanks for the advice folks. At this point I'm probably going to go Mickey mouse or modified caunter.

Leaning toward Mickey because it's accurate but this is WWW2 and caunter does look cool.
