They have been previewed. As if the Custodes weren't tough enough already.

Once I get over my current 40K thing I need to get back to doing Prospero stuff again. I just finished another 30K Thousand Son today actually.

I have just started models for a Prospero campaign – what have you done thus far, and what are you doing in your games?

So far I have Russ and his Wolves, two 10-man squads of Space Wolf Veterans, a 15 man squad of Grey Slayers, the character that came with Prospero, a unit of Scouts and a squad of terminators for the Rout.

For the Thousand Sons I have a Castellax, although one of the standard ones, two squads of Veterans, I just finished the second squad of tactical marines, a unit of terminators, a unit of scarab occult terminators, a unit of spire guard, a contemptor and Ahriman.

I also have some Legio Custodes but only the one squad. I need to get more of those guys and get a proper start on that order. Probably my next Forge World order.

We've only played a few games set on Prospero itself and we haven't managed to get into a campaign proper yet. I've been sort of waiting on some of the Forge World stuff that has come out recently and by that time I got distracted by Dark Imperium and 40K stuff, like the Genestealer Cultists.

I'd like to have a proper campaign running by crimbo and get a game in for it once a month or so. I'd like to have my Space Wolves dreadnought finished by then as well as another unit of Grey Slayers.

One game I'm eyeing up doing in preparation for that would be the fight in the western edge of the Rout's advance using SW:A pitting Thousand Sons Ammitara Occult vs. Vyka Fenryka in Scout armour, where the Ammitara can use the various teleportation paths to move around the battlefield and Rout are being constantly out maneuvered.

But first I'll probably finish of my Primaris marines when I get some more, hopefully next week.

Okay, talk to me about that terrain you have with the pyramid – where did you get it (he said, hoping it is not scratch-built)?

The ground pieces are from model railroad rock wall cover. They are thin pieces of foam about 8x14 or so. I need to buy about a dozen more of them to get a decent sized table covered.

The standing walls are scratch-built from insulation foam mounted on MDF.

The little tombs are scratch-built but just made from meat containers from Aldis with warmaster bases epoxied to them and painted. I thought they would look cool as Ushabti in the funerary complex where the game was set.

The drop pod was a commercially available product I bought years ago at one of the HMGS flea markets. I don't know if it is still in production or not.

The pyramid itself was made by a company that is no longer in business as far as I know. Although it was a beast to put together and one of the sides is scratch built as I couldn't get the resin one to fit.
