I am lucky enough to have discovered a retired woodworker in my area who builds cedar boxes with glass lids. He sells them for a silly low price. I picked up a couple two years ago at a local craft fair. The one below measures approx 17" x 20". I placed my newly finished Celtic army in it with no problem. 200 warriors, 36 slingers, 25 cavalry, 5 chariots and several misc command stands. It is heavy, so I will think twice about travelling with it, but as a display box in the mancave it is a great sight.
More pictures of everything at link I hope they are still in business because I will definitely be in the market more more. |

That beats sticking them in a cardboard box. |

That looks great. Since my 2 display cabinets are maxed out; I have to put them in plastic boxes. Can't see anything unless you open the lid. |

Waco Joe, "He sells them for a silly low price." How silly? Also, is in the Waco area too? Dan |
