Yay!!!! link link Dan PS. Two quick questions: 1) Are there any plans to make a set (or two) of Chinese civilians, like with a mix of vendors, laborers, shoppers? 2) Also, what about a leaders/officials/characters set for the Europeans and one for the Chinese? |

"15BRC-112 Chinese passive civilians" That answers my first question. "15BRL-118 Great Power personalities" And that answers my second one. That is absolutely fantastic. Thanks! Dan |

Wonderful stuff….the houses are great. Hopefully all the legation buildings will be available separately at some point. The Chinses buildings are really good. One suggestion would be for some of the ordinary Chinese regulars. The ones you have are the modern styles ones in a westernised uniform which were not involved in the fighting. They look nice but the standard Chinese imperials would be more useful as can be used in this campaign and also the earlier Opium wars |

Finally! Now I can wax poetic on this wonderful release. Wait, this is a wargame site, maybe I'll restrict myself to waxing enthusiastic. So, how enthusiastic? Well, the order was announced on July 3, I sent an email for some clarification to Old Glory, CC made his inquiry, Russ provided the list above, I consulted my existing (yet to be painted) Boxer collection of figures already owned, and placed an order on July 4th. Order was for the Legation Deal, one more building, and 58 packs of figures, 1 or more of them all. And, yes, I'd gladly post pictures if I had them – the figures, that is. But I noted in the comments on the order to ship complete so it may be a while and probably all the photos will be up by the time I get them. If not, time permitting, I'll post missing figures in the range, most likely on my blog with a link here. Don't know how others view this, but I'd call that a pretty enthusiastic order. Oh, and I'm already assembling my next order to round things out but will be waiting to see certain packs to decide how many to order. Will be ordering bunches more buildings. And wondering where the German legation is? Really, really looking forward to seeing the civilians for both sides, expect they will be useful in many ways. Might order a bunch more of those, depending. So, Mr. Dunaway and company, you can count me as somewhat blown away by this range. Will there be figures for the relief and punitive expeditions? And a train, perhaps, in resin with suitable cars? (Again, useful in many directions, not just for Boxers.) Last comment – I'd thought I was done collecting Boxer figures. Now I've gone and placed the highest dollar single order I've ever placed for miniatures (though a few times close for other things in the past). And ordering more! What am I thinking? : ) Yes, you can color me happy. |

Already having figures, I was waiting for the buildings so I ordered one+ each in the building range. I have a feeling that I will have storage difficulties… |

My Legations arrived. The UPS guys was not happy as he dragged the huge Box(er) across the lawn! I have unbox(er)ed three of them so far and can only state how pleased I am. Packing was excellent, I think I do have a tiny bit of damage to one casting, but heck they were being bombarded, right? The engineering of the models is excellent and the detail is astounding. I look forward of the challenge of painting these and doing justice to the wonderful work that Blue Moon provides on such a massive scale. Everything I have purchased from them has left me feeling that I have gotten something of the highest standards of the industry and at reasonable prices. Even with that said the sheer scope of this project is absolutely stunning! Great work from the folks at Blue Moon! I love you, even if I am putting your kids though college! |

@Old Glory Have you considered doing a pack of Seediq tribesmen from Taiwan, as in the movie Seediq Bale / Warriors of the Rainbow? They may be able to oppose Boxer Rebellion Japanese… With some conversion work, they may also be useful for other tribes of China and Southeast Asia. |

Did you buy your legation special yet? That deal can't last forever. |

Still listed but all codes marked not available on the Old Glory UK site. Very frustrating…… Alan |

Got an email advising my order will ship today or tomorrow – which is actually earlier than I expected. When I get it, I will try and get some photos up of what isn't yet on the web store pages for OG25 and/or Bluemoon, unless they are up by the time I get the order. Depends on how interior remodeling of house goes and other duties and chores and vacation preparation go (heading for Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore with lots of Old West historical stops in Wyoming and Montana). Excited to get to see items in person. One pack apparently not ready yet but no big deal since I will be ordering more figures – and lots more buildings – any way. |

The buildings are very nice. I would have to say that the legations are more a representation of the originals in regards to the number of buildings comprising each legation. They are beautiful though and obviously represent a colossal investment of time in creating them. Worth buying and very cool IMHO. |
