What's the best scale to get into 1948 war of independence? I'd prefer 15mm or 20mm, are there any ranges specific to this war or does it require conversion? If so, what ranges are compatible and conducive for the troops involved? I imagine lots of British 8th and 14th army with partisans and Arabs….

British figures, not just 8th Army types, lots of troops in NW European kit too…….partisan/militia types lots with some military uniform, trousers for example, militia with German weapons in particular make good Israeli militia. Arab forces are similar perhaps use some LRDG vehicles and figures with shemaghs, headswap others I expect.
