This week I posted my first Runewars Battle Report at… link Some pictures from the Report are below.
This game resulted in a Daqan (Human) victory. If you are interested in the actual report, head on over to Must Contain Minis. link |

Nice Report. Your figure comparisons were good also. I've been playing a game every week or so at the FLGS and am enjoying the system. |

Enjoyable read of what must have been quite an enjoyable battle to play! I've been loving Runewars so far, myself. Great system. Wish I played more! |

Thanks guys. It was a fun game. Did a double header on this one so I will likely have one more Battle Report on my site in a week or two before reviewing the product. |

am enjoying the system Yes it really makes you think before you rush head on into danger. Far less dice rolling and maneuvering is very important. But even though the enemy hero rampaged through your units it was still able to be defeated. If this was WFB or AoS the results would more than likely been reversed. Now if they would just release those dials separately. Because Fantasy Flight is going to have some issues due to the high cost of their expansions. $25 USD for a 4 figure Command group or 8 miniatures will be an issue. I got the base game but I have several WFB armies already. Just need those dials. |

Mithmee… you are so right about the pricing of their expansions. That will come across in my review for the game but I want to put out two Battle Reports first for the flavour of the game. I am Not a fan of the X-Wing style of expansions where different cards usable with other units come in each box. Again… items for the review. Game play wise, it is a fairly enjoyable and light game that would be easy to teach. |

Played another game last night. Got stomped by a much more experienced gamer but he was very friendly and gosh-darn-it I enjoy this game. MCM, You'll be glad to hear that FFG has said that all cards that aren't limited to a specific unit will be available in each faction's sets. It does mean that you'll have to buy your own faction's collection but it won't be like X-wing where you you have to buy another faction's units to get the cards you want. Mithmee, I've acquired 4 base-sets of Daqan so I have some extra dials for the Cav, Golems, Spearmen and Kari. I'd be happy to sell them or trade them. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. |

Just to add, I could also part with the unit cards and the unit-specific upgrade cards for Kari and Golems. |

That is good to hear that they won't be going with the X-Wing Sales model. |
