Following the British victory over The Americans at Winnsboro, DeKab retired all the way back to Charlotte, NC and Sevier retreated back to McDowell with his backcountry militia. Cornwallis sent Tarleton with a small contingent to pursue Sevier and destroy his command.

Cornwallis retired back to Camden upon hearing reports that Gates was approaching that town with another American army..

It looks like Tarleton will have his battle with Sevier at McDowell on this turn.
