Been a few years since I did mass shipping, and after having been taken to the cleaners yesterday by USPS on a few non-flat rate Priority parcel/ground packages, have come to the conclusion that is not only international shipping no longer an option, neither is parcel post/ground. So I have several larger 15mm buildings I will be selling soon. They likely will not fit in a large flat rate Priority box. Is UPS a more economical way to ship? Can't believe how bad USPS has gotten. Will only be shipping flat rate with them from now on. I do need another option when that is not feasible. Thanks |

I find that with terrain, flat rate is rarely a good option as not much of my stuff will fit into a box and if it does, it is light so cheaper to send via priority mail. There is not much difference between parcel and priority now and the cutoff weight is very low. Also sending within your own region is not too bad, but shipping across the country has become expensive.
I generally will send heavier and bulky items via FedEx Ground as I find that cheaper with an account (small discount).
