Armand,

Once again, this army is metal, NOT plastic. It therefore should not be posted to the Plastics Board. According to the author's write-up, there are exactly 4 plastic horses and one chariot platform (with rest of the chariot being scratchbuilt from card).

The rest of the army, in its entirety, is metal from Garrison. And the thing that usually excuses your mis-postings, the "well they are 1/72nd scale so they mix with plastics" tale, does not apply here as Garrisons of this generation were/are old school 25mm.

Armand, many, many people have come to your defense here on TMP and truly like the snippets that you uncover. However, there is a pretty solid group that have either blocked you (ignore) or just don't open your posts anymore because you either will not or can not actually read the material that you are copying. You have sort of "won" the honorary position of TMP's resident internet reporter, and that is fine, you do find some excellent material. My criticism is intended to be constructive, you may have won the "job" by default, but you should get better as you go along and really rise to the opportunity. Just my measly two cents worth, YMMV.

Not big deal my friend… my mistake became because of the horses…

About the "solid group" you mention… is their lost… not mine (smile)

I always tried to be better… but hell!… this is not a job… (smile).

And I'm human also… (smile)

HA-HA-HA…..!

I must confess …. that after seven years of transiting TMP … with so many battles and scars on me …. I am quite skeptical when a fellow member performs only 8 comments in 5 months and 6 of them were in my threads .. .. Specially when he repeats the "advice" certainly critical of …

"…Armand, I know that you usually "scoop and go" when you find things like this, but you're doing your readers a disservice by not checking at least a few details.

You are, of course, free to post and publish what you will, but you end up turning some of your supporters and your audience off by posting long out-of-date info or posting about metal figures on the Plastics Board. Just sayin…"

By the way…

"Several members have asked me if "The sea that raged no more" is a troll account.

I can tell you that he signs in and out of his account multiple times in a day, which suggests this is perhaps not his regular account. On the other hand, maybe he accesses TMP from a public library?

I know that his IP address traces to an "unusual" country, which could mean he is using IP-spoofing (which could be a sign of a troll). Or maybe he's visiting or working in an unusual country?

He has changed his membername multiple times. Previous names include The Shepherds of Lies, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Hey Joe, Blue Dalek, Pink Dolores, Showdown, Nothing worse than second spot, Nothing better than second, Richard Cory, Richard Cory went home tonight, Richard Cory went homeone nite, MOST STIFLED Silver Medal, Gone to Texas, MOST STIFLED Bronze Medal, heyjoe, One After 909, Madman Across the Water, This space is to be kept free, RESERVED pending approval, Haloween Jack, Blues 4, Blues For Baby and Me, etc. These are not sock puppet accounts, just name changes on a single account. This could be trollish behavior, or just eccentricity.

However, he has provided an email address for the account, and the address appears to give what might be his real name. Trolls don't usually do that. Of course, the name could be false.

So – is he a troll? Inconclusive"
Unquote.

Not entirely metal, anyway. The chariot is a conversion of several Airfix plastic sets.
