At CompanyB, you will find Filipino guerrillas in 28mm which will serve for the ww2 as for some conflicts of the Cold War.

Not sure if they work for the Spanish-American War…

Great looking models & paint jobs. But it looks like all of the weapons are wrong for the Spanish-American War though.

The weapons are typical of those used by the Filipinos against the Japanese. Some captured from the Japanese, some provided by the Allies, some used by their grandfather 30 years before.

The'd be fine for Malaysian guerrillas against the Japanese in WW2 and in the Emergency. I may have to get some.

Yes, most of those weapons I can ID are WWII vintage. As noted.

Some might also work for Viet Minh guerillas or early VC. Using weapons, etc., from the French, etc.

In the 80's there was the N.P.A. (New Peoples Army. When I was in 25th I.D. we got monthly beefing on there states. They were a communist backed organization primarily armed with captured/ stolen Philippine military equipment. (M-16, M-203, M-60 MG, M2 50 cal.)

11th ACR … So save for the weapons the NPA looked similar to these WWII models, I'd take it ? I'm thinking save for the weapons, these models could fit in any number of guerilla/insurgent groups for any number of tropical locations and in various periods. Probably even today with the appropriate weapons, etc.

Yes, when we replicated them as OPFOR it was with a head band (different colors), A Rock Group T Shirt or B.D.U shirt, B.D.U. pants, Jungle Boots, or Tennis Shoes.

I found these on Google:

Great Pics ! Nice OPFOR too ! thumbs up Yeah, they look just like many 3d World insurgents/guerillas in a tropical environment.

But they do have nice t-shirts ! With an AK on them of course ! Those could be sold on eBay ! evil grin
