We gave the new Pikeman's Lament rules a very satisfying play-test. They worked rather well.

Yep, we also have been playing a lot of TPL. We really like it a lot. Folks have actually dusted off old ECW armies and played with them for the first time in years.

I've played quite a few ganes of Luon Rampant, but TPL only once. However, I *really* enjoyed that one game, so much so that I am in progress on two different Companies from two different sidrs of the world for it.

The forces we used for this game were aimed at recreating units from the 1690s-1700s. All of this Lace Wars activity is aimed at one Mega-game involving several Imaginational Islands in the Caribbean in the age of the Buccaneers with each player commanding an island, an army and one or more ships while having to trade (or plunder) his way to wealth
