This doesn't really look like a succubus model to me. More like a vampiress, her outfit looks like it came from Vampirella's wardrobe. Nice figure though and superb painting – although $95 USD is way out of my price range. |

None are too pleasant-looking, but if forced to, I guess I'd have to go with number 3-- at least she has a nice face. Though if I had my druthers, I'd plump for the John Collier lady in the Wiki article. I always thought she got a bum rap anyway. Although in this painting, it looks more like she got a "bum wrap"! |

@Cacique Caribe Not all of the myths of the Succubus/Incubus are tied into the Old Hag stuff. A big chunk of it was more of a "demonic procreation" thing where Demons were believed to be incapable of directly reproducing so a succubus would seduce a man for their seed and change it somehow, becoming an incubus where they would impregnate seduced women…who would birth children who would grow into demons. The Old Had syndrome is a thing associated with sleep paralysis while the succubus/incubus was both a way to explain people, well, getting off while sleeping and kind of a cover for some people getting pregnant when they shouldn't have…such as a lady having an affair while her husband was away and ending up pregnant, they could claim that it must be from a incubus that used her husbands form and why should she know any better… ed up as that was and all. |
