So Im finialy redoing my 15mm Russians, replacing old Ebay bought figures with troops that I have painted and I noticed that the Russian Chassuers I have may actually be French Chassuers (MiniFig) painted to look like Russians. Now I want to paint and replace these figures bujt I cant find out much about Russian Chassuers let alone a manufacturer of these in 15mm. Old Glory 15s (19th century Miniatures) do not have them, to bad since most of my figs are Old Glory… Any Ideas or help is appreciated.

The Old Glory website lists 15mm Russian Mounted Jagers – no picture.

Can anyone verify that these are actually Russian Mounted Jagers and not just French Chasseurs a Cheval re-packaged?

Minifigs UK also lists 15mm Russian Mounted Jaeger.

AB's 18mm range has no Russian Mounted Jaeger.

Battle Honors has nothing either.

Are we talking the Mounted Yegr (who only appeared in 1813) or the light infantry? If the latter, which uniform period? The Mounted Yegr should look like Dragoons, but with the 1811 kiwer rather than the crested helmet.

While we are discussing Russian mounted Chassuers I do have a few units with partial Dragoons and Chassuers or Ulans.Mostly because I couldn't find the figures to fill out a full regiment.
