What's your level of interest in this latest KS from DF? link They are releasing quite a few themed encounter sets in this new KS. For me, there isn't much that gets my attention. Vaulted walls, doors, corners, and such aren't really that different to get me to spend my money plus it looks like you can't fit a figure on that part of the wall now. The LED pieces don't excite me in the least. Magnetic pieces, printed floors, some elevation platforms – still nothing. I do like some of the floor pieces, pillars, trap pieces, and unique doors but I'll wait and see if they offer them by themselves. It was fully funded quite quickly. |

I have 20+ boxes of their stuff: caverns, dungeons, and medieval building sets. The castle Kickstarter did nothing for me, and the sewer pieces were interesting but too expensive. This new one has some neat pieces, but as a whole I am only interested in picking up some ala carte packs rather than any of their pre-set dungeon encounters. This new one seems marketed to newbies and serious fanboys only. |

I agree. The really nifty new little pieces, like traps for example, are spread through out their new larger sets so you'd have to by pant loads more stuff to get the little pieces. Thanks the gods I have the will power to pass on this |

I think this stuff is fantastic and I wish them nothing but continued success. :D |

Love the dwarven forge stuff. Way out of my budget, but I love it all the same. |

I wish them well, and success, but I question their business model. KS's seem to be their preferred marketing technique. Does not inspire confidence, but I'm old school on marketing. I won't argue with success, but on the documentary about the founder, he claimed he needed around twice what he made on the city terrain KS, to break even? Looked like he lost big money based on his own comments. All seems strange to me… Cheers! |

On a more positive note, the documentary suggested they would cast up any old sets requested. If you have a desire for any parts, or figures (Lizard Men come to mind…), try asking them to produce what you want -- they still have the molds. The worst they could say, is, "No." Cheers! |

With the average backer at over $1,000 USD, those must be some rich newbies! :D High quality speaks for itself, even if the vocabulary is expensive. (: I find once or twice a year other less expensive game tiles KS, though the quality isn't as good. Anyway, just that much money I can spend on the Reaper Bones KS! |

I just want them to do their space sets in the plastic |
