This was previously posted on TMP in October 2015 but only seen by me now and, likewise, others may have missed it first time around. Then again, there should be no reason to excuse posting again something so truly magnificent!

(with respect to Pat/Silver Whistle).

Created by Pat @Silver Whistle on his marvellous blog link this would sit very well on a VBCW table, maybe with a slight modification to the French-ness (!). The Chateau is from Sarssa Precision in 28mm link

Check it out how he went about constructing the piece and just marvel at his creativity. Excellent work.

Very nice. I also have that Chateux and it made its game debut in a Bolt Action Normandy game recently. What about it makes it french vice british?

Greg G118 Jun 2017 3:07 p.m. PST

The roof terrace, the style of the windows, and the shutters make it French rather than British.

Wonderful work!

Captain dEwell18 Jun 2017 3:28 p.m. PST

Yep, I don't have a problem with that. I mentioned it only in a VBCW context.

And thanks LostPict.

Here is mine, but not as fine.

The highlight of the game was a US Artillery FO accidentally calling down an artillery barrage on that Chateaux where the U.S. Air FO was spotting from.

LostPict, very nice. Looks like you have dispensed with the window shutters.

Thanks
