The second picture looks like Harpo Marks on the war path!

Let's hope his men are good with sign language.

Not bad! The old 54mm Imrie Risley British soldiers look good, even after all these years. I don't recognize the make of the 54mm American militia.

Yeah, the militia officer looks like Harpo, albeit in a more serious mood.

I'm just posting a comment here as I'm tired of all the political stuff on this board – a board I thought was about gaming and miniatures.😁

Why not get the round shot rolling by doing a review of British Grenadier rules for those that find the writing, presentation and organization too daunting to slug through on their own?

I don't think there is a solid online review yet.

I started out with "1776" in … 1976?
It was in the "standard" WRG style of adding up all the positive modifiers and then subtracting the negative factors and …. Whoa. They all cancel out! Just roll the dice.
Problem was that the basing was even too small for Hinchliffe.
So I tried every shiny new set of rules that came out and made a sad discovery. I would get it "wrong" for at least the first two games. By the time I got it right, I got bored with the rules.
I don't do that anymore. We all enjoy Age of Reason for SYW, and TSATF for "skirmish" games. No more problems. We know those rules. Bickering has almost disappeared.
