Nice work! Did Medusa really need a spear when she had the Stone Face?

skippy000117 Jun 2017 4:26 p.m. PST

Well…she had to eat…

Really well painted! But I think she's going to trip and fall with her clothes falling off like that.

Beautiful blending! As Murphy says WOW!

Superb painting on an exquisite miniature (from Arena Rex), a bit pricey though.

This really is a self-defeating Medusa isn't it?

After all NO ONE is EVER going to look at her face!

So So Sculpt and paint job. Flat B.

@Ottoathome: She's just being selective about whom she turns to stone. After the first couple of household servants were accidentally turned into sculptures, she probably started protecting them this way.

Great paint job!

Otto, your comments are getting boring, repetitive, tedious and totally unwarranted. Why must be you be so negative about everything?

Stepman319 Jun 2017 8:05 a.m. PST

there should be a "like" button ^^^

Ottoathome19 Jun 2017 9:33 a.m. PST

Vampifan and Stepman.

You two are quite tedious. A person is free to like or dislike a thing as is their wish. That is their opinion. You have your opinion I have mine. You two are taking the childish attitude that if I do not like what you like, I am evil. Get over it. This is especially obvious when you admit you know nothing about the subject. You seem to take personally that if someone doesn't agree with you, they are evil. So it's obvious you don't care about the figure but simply carrying on your feud with me. Very good, have at it. But this feud you have is the epitome of whatever is boring, repetitive, tedious and totally unwarranted.

Crap is crap. Be prepared to have that pointed out if you personally identify yourself with it.

It's toy soldiers. We are all free to like and dislike what we will. We are in a forum all free to say what we wish, and point out the flaws as we wish. You are making it personal.

Stepman322 Jun 2017 7:35 a.m. PST

"Childish"? You do know this is toy soldiers right? Not to be taken too seriously. And not knowing about the subject is well, subjective. You make these huge grandiose critiques yet haven't proven why you're the "expert on the material". You don't owe us anything in way of a reason but when you come off as being arrogant and pompous it opens you up to ridicule… And I've never said you were "evil", don't make assumptions or claims about what I think or feel…

The form shadows and highlights are over emphasized compared to the diaphanous veils. But that may be a stylistic choice.

Still a nice job on what must have been a challening subject.

Glad you like it too my friend!.
