This lot have been taking a lot of space recently but are nearly finished & good enough to share with you fine people.
This post also contains a contemporary Napoleonic image which, while somewhat vulgar, offers a clue to my next post & begs for a caption contest!

Enjoy the brassy goodness at…

Looks like the "Old Guard" are hitting them from behind!

A guardsman always keeps one hand on his musket!

I love a challenge.

Firstly he is not a Guardsman. His red collar is an instant "give away". Also the white…?silver…. grenades on his turnbacks would be wrong for a grenadier…as is suggested by his bearskin plate. His fringed epaulettes seem to have silver lace within…for an NCO…….but he seems to meant to be a grenadier, not a chasseur. The cockade (I do really mean the thing on his head), says late Napoleonic, but the rest says Royalist Second Restoration…if not totally fake.

Finally, above all. His partner is of the opposite gender….1815…surely not for a chap of his time in France?

Don't let Liam look too hard at your gunners' placements – he may mention the rammer…

But good to see you posting – I love your grand games for the inspiration

And is that an electric light hanging above the street?

I am sure that Gringos40 will work on this for their next release…to go with the two rude Line chaps giving the fingers and the two Highlanders baring all.

Marc is right. We have all been distracted and forgot to mention the scale (ie numbers I mean) of the artillery shown.

"Up Gardes and at 'em"?

or would it be Corporal Jones from "Dad's Army"?

What did he say? "Cold steel? They don't like it Mr Mainwaring, the Boche. They don't like it…." I forget the rest

I would admit she seems happy enough.

Thanks for commenting Gents, its seems there is as much humour here as constructive criticism here on TMP which is gratifying.
Best wishes,
