Our final Triplane scenario tonight utilized Steve's models. I don't have very many early war models, and neither does Peter. The pics show the subsequent position after I, in the Albatros C.3, had made a diving head-on pass at the two Nieuports, then continued my dive. They maneuvered down and around and each one took a hard deflection shot at me; I took one hit and gave back four on the Nieuport 10c, and a crit that was n.e. Then I continued diving and handily escaped. Albatros two-seaters out dive Nieuports like nobody's business…… link link link |
