There's Perrys' female Turkoman horse-archers – link Also some women among Curteys' Mongol camp-followers – link – but they don't look mush like the glamorous types you link to. |

Thanks for the ideas and links. I actually am looking for the "fancier" types however for 16/17th century Persia/Turkish scenarios. When looking at the images of women in Persia during the reign of Shah Abbas I, the women are pretty similar to the types shown in the google images. I was also inspired by the female costumes on the Netflix series "Resurrection Etrugul" (a Turkish production) which are similar to the google images as well. |
